Yes — strictly and without exception. No one under 18 can board under any circumstances. This is enforced policy, not a soft guideline. The result is an atmosphere that is elevated, grown, and completely free of the family-vacation energy of traditional cruise lines.
This sailing qualifies for the $50 Bar Tab credit tier (5 nights or fewer). Your $50 per cabin credit is loaded to your Virgin Voyages wristband at boarding and covers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages anywhere on the ship. The credit is per cabin — not per person — and unused credit does not carry over after the sailing.
Your fare includes all dining at 20+ specialty restaurants (no cover charges, no fixed seating times, no buffet), Wi-Fi, group fitness classes, taxes and port fees and live entertainment. Gratuities are NOT included — add the discounted crew gratuity package after booking to lock in the lower rate. Out-of-pocket costs include alcohol beyond your bar tab credit, spa services, shore excursions, casino, and specialty add-ons.
Absolutely. Solo travelers are a celebrated part of the MOOD community. Single-occupancy cabin options are available in our group block. You will have an instant crew to dine, explore, and celebrate Friendsgiving with from Day 1. Many MOOD solo travelers leave with lifelong travel friendships.
The first 32 cabins booked in our group block receive a hotel savings voucher for future travel. Cabins 1–16 receive a voucher for up to $500 off. Cabins 17–32 receive up to $300 off. Cannot be combined with the BCC VIP Pre-Voyage Experience offer. Redemption details in your post-booking email.
Every cabin booked in our 32-cabin group block is automatically entered. BCC Wave Makers & Legacy Circle members get extra entries. Yes — use the group booking link on this page. However, suites, sea view, and insider rooms do not qualify for group-discounted rates, bar tab credit, the group t-shirt, happy hour, or free cabin entry (Suites). These cabin types are still welcome at our group dinner reservation.
Yes — highly recommended. Download the Virgin Voyages app as soon as your booking is confirmed and make restaurant reservations immediately. Popular venues like Gunbae (Korean BBQ), The Wake, and Pink Agave book up weeks before sailing. MOOD coordinates one group dinner night; your personal reservations cover the rest of the voyage.
Scarlet Night is Virgin Voyages' signature onboard event — a ship-wide dress-in-red celebration that transforms every deck into a party. Rooftop dancing, live DJ sets, cabaret, cocktails, and everyone in red. It happens once per sailing. On the Friendsgiving voyage, Scarlet Night lands on Day 4 — your MOOD group will be there together.
