- Welcome to Jamaica! Arrive at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.
- Our MOOD Travel Club team will warmly greet you and arrange your transfer to the exquisite Grand Palladium Jamaica.
Afternoon:
- Check in and settle into your luxurious single or double occupancy room, where ocean views (if applicable) await.
- Take your first steps on the pristine beach, dip into the pools, or explore the resort’s amenities.
Evening:
- Join us for a welcome dinner at one of the resort’s restaurants, savoring delicious Jamaican cuisine.
- Get ready to immerse yourself in the island’s magic at night with a HBCU Welcome to Jamrock party with all your favorite jams, spun by your favorite HBCU DJs!
Day 2 (07/26/24)
Bamboo River Rafting and Cannabis Farm Exploration
Morning:
- Fuel up with breakfast before a day of adventure.
- Journey to the Martha Brae River for bamboo river rafting.
Afternoon:
- Drift down the tranquil river, surrounded by lush greenery and Jamaican beauty.
- In the afternoon, continue to a local cannabis farm for an immersive tour, connecting with the island’s culture. Want to relax instead? Enjoy a spa day at the luxury Zentropia spa and wind down before the nights events.
Evening:
- Return to the resort in the late afternoon and enjoy a night of fun with our Old School Pajammy Jam. Vibe to the rhythm of the go go beat, and rock your hips to the sounds of Homecoming!
Day 3 (07/27/24)
Who’s Going to Drive the Boat?
Morning:
- After a delightful breakfast, embark on an exhilarating catamaran adventure.
- Set sail, dance to dancehall, afrobeats, and throwbacks from College as we indulge in tropical cocktails and turn up with your HBCU family!
Afternoon:
- Dive into the Caribbean waters for an exciting snorkeling and island Cruising experience.
Savor a mouthwatering lunch onboard as you cruise the picturesque coastline and turn up to the sounds of Afrobeats, Dancehall & more!
Evening:
- Return to the resort, where you can unwind and share your experiences with fellow travelers. Tonight is our Karaoke & Game night. Join your friends singing your favorite throwback jams, or sit back and get into a game of spades, dominoes, & more! The vibes of a kickback, with special prizes and giveaways.
Day 4 (07/28/24)
Beach Olympics and Farewell Dinner
Morning:
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relish a day of relaxation at the resort.
- Lounge by the pool, stroll along the beach, or treat yourself to spa services.
Afternoon:
- Take advantage of the resort’s amenities, from water sports to leisure activities. Join us for our HBCU beach Olympics! Grab your team and head down to the sand. Test your knowledge, agility, and ability to work together to win cash prizes and giveaways!
- In the evening, gather for an all white 80s & 90s R&B farewell dinner party, celebrating your Jamaican adventure and HBCU Homecoming experience like no other! Let’s send you home the right way as we vibe out in this Jamaican oasis.
Day FIVE (07/29/2024)
Farewell to Jamaican Bliss
Morning:
- Savor your last Jamaican breakfast at the resort.
- Spend your final morning at your own pace, reflecting on your unforgettable journey.
Afternoon:
- Check out from the Grand Palladium Jamaica, carrying cherished memories.
- Our team will transfer you to Sangster International Airport for your departure.
