As of the date of this sailing, US citizens do not require a visa for short stays in France and Spain (Schengen Area). However, the EU's ETIAS travel authorization system may be in effect by 2027 — a simple online pre-registration similar to the US ESTA. MOOD will provide updated entry requirement guidance to all signed-up travelers well in advance of the sailing date. Always verify current requirements with your government's travel advisory.
Absolutely — at minimum one full day early, ideally two. Barcelona is one of the great cities of the world and deserves real time. MOOD VIP package information (including recommended Barcelona hotels and pre-cruise meetup details) will be sent to your inbox after you complete sign-up.
An overnight port call is one of Virgin Voyages' most special experiences. Rather than a typical day in port, you stay docked overnight and have the full evening — and the next morning — to experience Ibiza. This means evening dinners in the old town, access to world-class clubs and beach bars, and a sunrise in Ibiza before sailing. Your MOOD advisor will share a curated Ibiza guide after booking.
