Stingray City is a natural shallow sandbar about 3 miles offshore from Grand Cayman where dozens of friendly Southern stingrays congregate. Tour boats bring visitors to stand in waist-deep water while the stingrays — docile and accustomed to humans — glide around and over you. It is one of the most unique wildlife encounters in the Caribbean and beloved by travelers of all ages.
