BCC Skool Membership Terms And Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern membership in the Black Cruisers Club community hosted on the Skool platform (‘Community’), operated by MOOD Travel Club / Black Cruisers Club (‘BCC’). By joining or maintaining a membership in the Community, you (‘Member’) agree to these terms in full.

2. Membership Tiers

Black Cruisers Club offers three membership tiers on Skool:

Cabin Crew (Free)	Free membership. Access to community posts, introductions tab, and public BCC content.
Wave Makers ($19/mo)	Paid monthly membership. Full community access, course library, early sailing announcements, and member benefits.
Legacy Circle ($29/mo)	Paid monthly membership. All Wave Maker benefits plus priority access, exclusive content, and Legacy Circle designations.

All paid tier pricing is in US Dollars (USD) and is charged monthly on the anniversary date of your subscription start. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ notice to active members.

3. Billing & Recurring Charges

Paid memberships (Wave Makers and Legacy Circle) are billed on a monthly recurring basis
Your payment method is charged automatically each month on your billing anniversary date
By enrolling in a paid tier, you authorize MOOD Travel Club / Skool to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel
All charges are processed through Skool’s payment infrastructure — MOOD Travel Club does not store payment card data directly
You are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid and current

4. Cancellation — Cancel Anytime

You may cancel your paid membership at any time, with no cancellation fee and no minimum commitment period.

To cancel: access your Skool account settings and select ‘Cancel Membership’ — or email help@MOODTravelClub.com for assisted cancellation
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid tier benefits until your period ends
You will not be charged again after cancellation is processed
Cancellation does not automatically delete your Skool account or your community history — you remain in the Community at Cabin Crew (free) tier access
Cancellation requests submitted within 24 hours of a new billing cycle may not prevent that cycle’s charge — contact help@MOODTravelClub.com immediately if this occurs

Cancel anytime. No fees. No penalties. Access continues through the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, you drop to Cabin Crew (free) access automatically.

5. Refund Policy

Membership fees are generally non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

If you contact help@MOODTravelClub.com within 48 hours of an unintended renewal charge and have not accessed paid content during that billing period, MOOD Travel Club will consider a refund at its discretion
If BCC permanently closes or discontinues the paid membership program, a pro-rata refund for unused days in the current billing period will be issued
Refunds are not available for: partial-month cancellations, dissatisfaction with content, failure to cancel before renewal, or any other reason not described above

6. Membership Benefits — Subject to Change

BCC reserves the right to modify, add, or remove membership benefits at any tier with reasonable notice to members. Material reductions in paid tier benefits will be communicated at least 14 days in advance. Members who disagree with material changes may cancel without penalty within 14 days of notice.

7. Community Standards & Conduct

All members — paid and free — are expected to uphold Black Cruisers Club’s community values:

Respect for all community members regardless of experience, background, or travel history
No spam, solicitation, or promotion of competing services without BCC’s written approval
No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct of any kind
Content posted in the Community must be relevant, truthful, and in the spirit of the BCC mission

BCC reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any member — including paid members — for violation of community standards. Removal for conduct violations does not entitle the removed member to a refund of any membership fees paid.

8. Intellectual Property

All BCC course content, guides, videos, and materials available within the Skool Community are the intellectual property of MOOD Travel Club / Black Cruisers Club. Members are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use content for personal travel planning purposes only. Content may not be downloaded, redistributed, resold, or reproduced without written permission from MOOD Travel Club.

9. Third-Party Platform — Skool

The BCC Community is hosted on Skool (skool.com), a third-party platform. Your use of Skool is also governed by Skool’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at skool.com/terms. MOOD Travel Club is not responsible for Skool platform outages, policy changes, or any actions taken by Skool that affect access to the Community.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
